Unations Women Hold First-Ever Tryouts

The historic tryout marked the beginning of a new chapter for Unations and the athletes who stepped onto the field to build the foundation of the club’s women’s program.

HOLDEN, MA — August 1, 2026 — Unations officially held its first-ever women’s soccer tryouts Saturday at Stephen Nowak Memorial Field in Holden, Massachusetts, marking a significant milestone as the organization begins its journey into women’s professional soccer.

Athletes from across the area took the field with the opportunity to become part of the foundation of Unations Women, the club’s new women’s program preparing to compete in the UPSL Women league. The tryout provided players with an opportunity to showcase their abilities while beginning the process of building a team that will represent Unations on the field.

For the organization, the significance of the day extended beyond evaluating talent. These were the first players to step onto the field for Unations Women, making them the first athletes to play a role in shaping the identity and culture of the program.

Head Coach Allie spoke with the players about the importance of what is being built and the opportunity to create a lasting legacy at Unations. Her message reflected the bigger vision for the program — establishing something that future generations of players can continue to build upon.

The players who attended the inaugural tryout are now part of an important moment in Unations history. They were the first to answer the call and help begin the foundation of Unations Women.

With the first tryout officially complete, the club will continue building its roster and preparing for the road ahead.
