Unations Cruise Past Southwest FC with Dominant 5–0 Victory

Guervens Murat scores twice as Unations stay unbeaten, Stephen Jackowski records first clean sheet, and Tristan Coronado makes club debut in commanding road performance.

MILFORD, Conn. – Unations delivered a dominant performance on Saturday afternoon, cruising to a convincing 5–0 victory over Southwest FC in UPSL New England Premier action at Lauralton Hall in Milford, Connecticut.

Unations came out aggressively from the opening whistle and quickly established control of the match with their attacking intensity and high pressure. Their strong start was rewarded early as Guervens Murat continued his outstanding run of form, opening the scoring to give Unations a deserved 1–0 lead.

Murat remained a constant threat throughout the first half and doubled both his tally and Unations’ advantage before halftime, finishing confidently to send his side into the break with a commanding 2–0 lead. The brace continued the striker’s remarkable scoring streak as he remains one of the conference’s most in-form forwards.

Looking to maintain momentum in the second half, Unations introduced Ricardo Rivera and Alex Egan, and the pair immediately made an impact. Egan combined well in the attack before Rivera found the back of the net to extend the lead to 3–0 and put the result firmly beyond doubt.

Despite the comfortable advantage, Unations continued to press forward and control possession deep into the match. Their persistence paid off in the closing stages as Yves Kamga Fotso added two late goals to cap off an emphatic team performance and complete the 5–0 victory.

Defensively, Unations were equally impressive throughout the afternoon, limiting Southwest FC’s opportunities and maintaining control at the back. Goalkeeper Stephen Jackowski earned his first clean sheet of the season following a composed performance behind a disciplined defensive unit.

The match also marked an important milestone for the squad as new signing Tristan Coronado made his debut appearance for the club.

The result marks another strong showing for Unations as they continue to build momentum in the UPSL New England Premier campaign.

Unations will now prepare for a quick rematch against Southwest FC next Saturday, May 9th at 7:30 PM at Morse Field in Worcester, Massachusetts, in the reverse fixture.
