Inspiring the Next Generation

Alex Egan, Richie Rivera, and Chelsie Swann lead a high-level coaching session at Ballerz FC Academy, sharing their professional experience and guiding young players on and off the pitch

On Friday, March 20th, Unations took part in a community training session in Worcester, hosted by Ballerz FC Academy. Held at Energy Athletics and organized by John Grande, owner of Ballerz FC, the session brought together players aged U10-U14 for an evening centered on development, mentorship, and connection.

Unations players Alex Egan, Richie Rivera, Chelsie Swann, and Unations owner Erick Kamau opened by sharing their professional experiences, emphasizing discipline, mindset, and consistency as key foundations for success.

"It was a great experience, it's always important for us to give back and connect with the next generation," said Alex Egan. "It's an honor to be able to share our experiences and we appreciate Coach Grande for inviting us!"

The session transitioned into structured on-field work, including passing-based warm-ups, a competitive small-sided game, and a focused shooting drill. It concluded with a scrimmage, where players applied what they had learned in a game environment.

Following the session, a Q&A provided valuable insight and direct engagement, reinforcing the connection between players and coaches. To close the evening, each Ballerz FC player was gifted a Unations jersey-marking a lasting reminder of the experience.

The event reflected Unations' core values of continued commitment to community engagement and player development, while also highlighting the importance of collaboration. Unations is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Ballerz FC in creating a meaningful and inspiring experience for the next generation both on and off the pitch.
